Briefing
Elle’s Cakery approached us in early 2020. Having recently started up as an independent bespoke cakery, they were looking to have a brand image created and needed a way of promoting their cakes online through social media channels. They had no previous media or brand identity so we were given the task to create these, working with a blank canvas.
Process
Taking time to understand project requirements and customer demographics allowed us to visualise a plan of action. We decided a logo was a must for use across online and offline media. Along with this, we provided high quality photos and videos for use across social media accounts to convey the quality of the products Elle’s Cakery produce.
Results
After a month of working with Elle’s Cakery, visiting them during production to gather the photos and videos we needed, and sending logo revisions back and forth, we arrived at a product that represented the quality and creativity of their produce. High definition photos and videos, paired with a creative logo really provided the boost their promotion needed.

Services Provided
Logo Design
With no logo, customers were unable to recognise Elle’s Cakery online. We worked closely, presenting concepts and agreeing on a design path. Once set, we sent revisions back and forth until we arrived at a logo that would be recognisable across all forms of media.
Photography
Photography was a key part of this project. One of the requirements was to introduce a way of showcasing the quality of Elle’s Cakery to potential customers via social media channels. A creative eye paired with high-quality cameras really helped us achieve this target.
Videography
One of our tasks was to promote on social media. We decided there’s no better way to explain the process Elle’s Cakery go through to produce each of their hand-made cakes than to create a video. The final product combined HD video and SFX to detail their unique production process.
