Briefing
The White Horse Inn approached us in 2019 looking to have a website built for the pub and restaurant. We were told from the beginning how important a high-end look and feel was to them and how important it was for the website to offer a way of making reservations. We were told opening hours and food menus needed to be easily ammendable too.
Process
Having taken over the pub from a previous owner, TWHI didn’t have access to their logo files, so we had this re-drawn in vector format. We also reached out to our friends over at Palm Productions to provide some high-quality imagery and videography for use on the homepage and other portions of the website. With all of this in hand we set to work on the website.
Results
After two months of working with TWHI, sending design revisions back and forth and developing the ideas into a final product, we completed the project on time and on budget. The high-quality photography and videography really gives this website a high-end finish. The ability for staff to update menus and opening times also helps to keep website content fresh.

Photography
Photography was an essential part of this project. Ensuring the quality of the food and drink served at The White Horse Inn was portrayed in picture perfect detail was of paramount importance in achieving the level of quality we envisioned for TWHI. A creative eye was also essential.
Web Design
Making the journey for the customer as easy as possibe was the most important factor. Once we’d figured out how to do this, we made sure every single detail was looked after, and used pop-up boxes for reservation forms where possible being careful not to overcrowd pages.
Web Development
We worked closely to our design, implementing features as we went. We added features such as click-to-call and links to navigation apps and maps, as well as a hassle-free and simple to use CMS allowing the team to easily swap out menus and update opening times.
